Laal is Cumbrian dialect for “little”, an apt description of this small but perfectly formed wee chap! Designed for smaller weddings or birthday/anniversary get togethers, this cake totals 2.2 kilos of delectable cheese so it should easily cater for groups upto around 30 people. As with all our cakes, it comes with the decorations (fruit and thyme sprigs as pictured) but not the board sorry! (although you can pick one up for £6 – £10 from Amazon)
Base Layer – Waterloo, a rich and creamy English brie handmade by Anne & Andy Wigmore in Berkshire from raw Guernsey cow’s milk
Next Layer – Wensleydale with Cranberries, the ever-popular fruity little devil made by our pal Stephen Greenfield in Inglewhite
Next Layer – Isle of White Blue, impossibly decadent, rich and creamy 200 gram truckle of this brilliant blue cheese!
